Pets: NSAA asks that all members who bring their dogs to the cabin have them on-leash at all times while in the neighborhood around the cabin. In addition to having your dog on leash, please remember to clean up after your dog, both inside and outside the cabin. There is a dog run right outside the cabin.
Reservations: Click BOOK NOW to check availability, then submit your reservation and payment online. One reservation per transaction at this time. If you wish to book another cabin reservation, you will need to make a separate transaction. Check out time is Noon.
Keys & Directions: Stop by the NSAA office the week before your rental to get the key and directions. Be sure to check NSAA’s office hours. There is a $50 replacement and re-key fee for lost cabin keys.

Refund Policy: A request to cancel must be called in or emailed according to the following policy:
a) 2 weeks out from rental date: Credit for price paid toward future rentals. Expires within 1 year.
b) Less than 2 weeks from rental date: No credit
About NSAA Cabin in Hope, Alaska
NSAA has a cozy A-frame cabin available to rent to its members. The cabin is located in the historic community of Hope, just a short drive from Anchorage. There is year round fun close by on the Resurrection Pass Trail, Gull Rock Trail, and the Palmer Creek area. Great location to gather friends and family for outdoor fun. Amenities: A generous, long-time volunteer Golda Whittaker donated this cabin to NSAA at the time of her death. The cabin is 16’ by 16’ and comfortably sleeps 4 or 5. This is a dry-cabin: no electricity or water is available at the cabin. The first floor has two padded bench seats that double as beds, a wood stove, propane lantern and two burner Coleman stove and table for four. There is an upstairs loft, accessible by a sturdy ladder. The cabin has a covered porch, and a clean outhouse. Cabin is located on a quiet road on a wooded ½ acre lot. You can drive right to the front door.
What to bring: We suggest you bring food, firewood, sleeping bags, propane and drinking water.
